Jagadguru Tradition

Divine personalities who displayed unparalleled mastery over all Vedic scriptures, and who brought about a spiritual revolution in the minds of the people by their unique explanation of Vedic knowledge, have traditionally been conferred the title of Jagadguru, or Spiritual Master of the whole world. In the past 5000 years of the present age of Kali, five personalities have been recognized as original Jagadgurus and Shree Kripaluji Maharaj happens to be the 5th Original Jagadguru.

Recognised by ‘Kashi Vidwat Parishat’, an apex organisation comprising the greatest sanskrit scholars of India, Bhakti-yog Rasavatar, Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj, lovingly called Shree Maharaj Ji, is the supreme Jagadguru and prime acharya of this age.

Jagadguru means the descended Divine personality who comes in the world to reveal the real truth of the scriptures and establish the Divine magnificence of Bhakti, which is the only path to experience and perceive the Bliss, beauty and the Divine love of God. The importance of this title should be understood with the reference that, prior to him, in the last 5,000 years only four descended Divine personalities were called the original Jagadgurus- Jagadguru Shankaracharya (509-477 BC), Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya (around 6th century BC), Jagadguru Ramanujacharya (1017-1137 AD) and Jagadguru Madhvacharya (13th century AD).

The most important aspect of his Divine personality is that Shree Maharaj Ji is distributing the braj ras since 1936 in very liberal manner and in a much sweeter and magnified form along with the revelation of extensive devotional material for all kinds and classes of devotees of Radha Krishn and even for those who want to pursue devotion. Such a manifestation of graciousness has never been seen in the Divine history, that’s what gives him the supremacy upon other Jagadgurus and Acharyas.
